John Manousso
was born and raised in Ethiopia of Greek parents, but is a French citizen. He came to Houston, Texas, in 1961. English was this sixth language. After working as a Logistics Manager for a Houston oil company for 38 years, he became a mediator and arbitrator. Photography has been his hobby.
A devout Greek Orthodox Christian, John and his wife
have been members of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Houston, Texas, for many decades.
In relation to John’s rare cancer, John and his wife Barbara are the support group co-leaders of the International Waldenstrom’s Macroglombulinemia Foundation Houston Chapter (IWMF).
Barbara Sunderland Manousso, Ph.D., MPH
was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island.
She earned her Baccalaureate in Arts from Brown University in Rhode Island, a Master of Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health in Houston, Texas, and a Ph.D. at Nova Southeastern University in Florida.
Since 1993, she has been CEO of Manousso Mediation
and Arbitration, LLC., and for years, adjunct faculty at the University of St. Thomas, teaching Global Conflict Management. Dr. Manousso is also a distinguished credentialed mediator, arbitrator, facilitator, trainer,
lecturer, and author.
The Manoussos reside in Houston, Texas.
