John Manousso
was born and raised in Ethiopia of Greek parents and is a French citizen. He came to Houston, Texas, in 1961. English was this sixth language. After working as a Logistics Manager for a Houston oil company for 38 years, he is now a mediator and arbitrator and volunteers for a variety of non-profit organizations. Photography is his hobby.
A devout Greek Orthodox Christian, John and his wife have been members of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Houston, Texas, for many decades. John and with his wife Barbara are the coordinators of the International Waldenstrom’s Macroglombulinemia Foundation Houston Chapter (IWMF), the support group for John’s rare cancer.
Dr. Barbara Sunderland Manousso
was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island. She earned her Baccalaureate in Arts from Brown University in Rhode Island, a Master of Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health in Houston, Texas, and a Ph.D. at Nova Southeastern University in Florida. She has been adjunct faculty at the University of St. Thomas and teaches Global Conflict Management. Dr. Manousso is also a credentialed mediator, arbitrator, facilitator, trainer, lecturer, and author. Since 1993, she has been CEO of Manousso Mediation and Arbitration, LLC.
